We are a community who is experiencing and sharing God's remedy for the world. We believe that the church is not a building but rather it is the followers of Jesus being the church where ever they are. Church does not happen when we gather on Sunday mornings... church happens when we live in the reality that because of Jesus we can live in an intimate relationship with God now and forever. This reality is displayed in our relationships with family, friends, neighbors, classmates, teachers, bosses and all those people God places in our path daily. With this reality, our goal is not to get people into our church building on Sundays, but rather to get people out into the world to be the church every moment of every day.
We believe that the worship of God has gone on forever. On Sundays, God is simply inviting us to step into a never ending stream of worship that will go on for eternity. Our worship gatherings are never the same from week to week because God's Spirit leads our worship - we don't. In worship we gather to celebrate God's remedy that we can have through Jesus Christ and we learn how to live out and share that remedy with the world.
Knowing that we all experience God differently, our worship involves all of our senses. This multi-sensory style of worship includes visual metaphors, video, drama, storytelling, and conversation allowing us to experience God with heart, mind and soul.
We meet in a coffee house type atmosphere... sitting around tables so we can be in community with one another. The atmosphere includes soft lighting, candles, and a live band. Fair trade coffee is served.
